Brian S. Kubo, DDS Inc. is owned by Dr. Brian S. Kubo. Dr. Kubo was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. He graduated from Iolani School and got his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Dr. Kubo has provided quality dental care for over two decades to residents and visitors alike in Waimea (or Kamuela), Waikoloa, Honokaa, Hamakua coast, Kohala coast, Hilo, Kailua-Kona and other areas on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Inspired by his grandfather, Dr. August Kubo, who practiced dentistry in Hilo, HI, as one of the first graduates of Japanese descent from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry, Dr. Kubo earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. Electing to get additional training, Dr. Kubo completed a year-long general practice residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu before opening his dental practice in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1993.
Dr. Kubo is a member of the Hawaii County Dental Society, the Hawaii Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kubo is a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and a charter member of the prestigious Hawaii Terry Tanaka Study Group and the Hawaii Interactive Peer Practicum, as well as a member of the Spear Dental Study Club and Seattle Study Club. He is also a founding member and current president of the CADCAM Masters study group.
Dr. Kubo is an active member of his community and regularly volunteers his time and services at such events as the North Hawaii Community Hospital's Senior Health Fair and numerous preschool and elementary school dental education programs. Dr. Kubo is a volunteer and participating dentist of the Dental Lifeline Network. He is a member of the Voyage Ministry of Waimea. He has previously been assistant Cubmaster for Pack 27 (Parker Ranch Club scouts) and has been involved with youth sports organizations.
